- These High Performance Cylinder studs are made from 180,000 psi yield strength, fine grain, heat treated, premium grade 8740 material
- Threads are rolled after heat treating to insure maximum compressive stresses are retained, insuring maximum strength, and the longest fatigue life possible
- The case end threads are designed to have a slight interference fit to maintain good thread contact at high temperature
- Studs are center less ground to insure concentricity, and finished with a premium black oxide treatment , excellent appearance
